This model has a built-in timer that allows you to schedule when it should turn on or off, similar to a Shabbos clock or Sabbath mode. Here’s how to set it up:

 

  1. Download the SmartHQ App:

  2. Connect the Ice Maker to WiFi:

    • Press the light and power buttons together until the WiFi symbol starts blinking.
    • Follow the instructions in the app to connect your ice maker to the SmartHQ app.

  3. Set Up a Schedule:

    • Once connected, click on "Opal" in the app.
    • Then click on "Schedule."

  4. Create Separate Schedules:

    • To set a turn-off time for Friday and a turn-on time for Shabbos, you will need to create two separate schedules:
      • One schedule to turn off Friday during the meal, or whenever you think you might want to use it.
      • Another schedule to turn back on overnight.
      • Another schedule to turn on on Shabbos day.

  5. Save and Enjoy:

    • After setting up the schedules, hit "Save."
    • You're all set!
