Last Chance to Earn 100K Points with the Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card

Although the 100K bonus offers for the two Marriott Bonvoy cards offered through American Express recently ended, you still have a little time left if you’d like to earn that 100K bonus on the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit card with Chase. This offer was originally supposed to end on May 2, but conveniently it was extended until May 16. Get it now, while you still can!

With the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit card from Chase, you can earn a 100K bonus after spending $5K in the first 3 months of having the card. There are other great reasons to pursue this card. First, you can avoid paying a hefty annual fee, compared to the other Marriott cards from Amex. The Bonvoy Boundless only has a $95 annual fee, compared with a whopping $450 on the Amex Bonvoy cards.

What are the Benefits?

There are plenty of benefits to the Bonvoy Boundless card, here’s a summary of the main ones:

  • 6x points earning on all spending at Marriott properties
  • One free night every year on your anniversary, for properties up to 35K in points value
  • Automatically earn Silver Status (and easily turn that into Gold Status if you spend $35K in one year)
  • 15 elite night credits each year
  • No foreign transaction fees

According to The Points Guy, the 100K Marriott bonus is worth about $800. You have many options for redeeming the points, and depending on how you do this, you may be able to make those points worth a little more.

The Fine Print

If you are interested in applying for the Bonvoy Boundless card from Chase, keep in mind that you are still going to have to abide by the 5/24 rule—if you have applied for 5 cards in 24 months, you will not be eligible for this card.

Also, Marriott does have certain card eligibility restrictions. Mainly, if you already have a Marriott card, you may be ineligible for earning another sign on bonus. Make sure you check this out before applying, since the 100K in bonus points is the major draw for most people.

Keep track of the May 16 deadline, since it is approaching quickly! If you want to lock in this huge bonus, then get moving on your application. This deadline was already extended once, so it probably won’t go any longer. And, it’s impossible to tell what the next incentive will be, but it is likely that the bonus will not be this high again for a while.
