By late morning, the situation had not yet been fully resolved. Disgruntled customers took to social media, sharing their experiences of having rent or bill payments withdrawn twice and expressing frustration with extended wait times exceeding an hour when reaching out to customer service.

Amidst these reports, Chase Bank's website experienced an outage, further exacerbating the problem. The financial institution acknowledged the situation, attributing it to a 'technical issue' and assuring customers that a resolution would be implemented within five hours of their 8 AM Eastern Time announcement.
